Welcome. By using plateaunerd.com you agree to these terms. Please read them; if you don't agree, please don't use the site.

Who runs this site

This website and its content and services are owned and operated by Andy Brunker, doing business as The Plateau Nerd. We're a solo local business offering DJ services and custom website design on the Santa Rosa Plateau.

Using the site

You may browse the site and contact us for legitimate purposes. Please don't misuse it — no attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the site, no scraping for spam, and nothing unlawful.

Inquiries aren't contracts

Sending a message through the contact form starts a conversation — it doesn't create a binding agreement for services. Any DJ booking or website project is governed by a separate agreement we make with you directly.

Payments, cancellations & refunds

DJ bookings. Any deposit, and whether and until when it's refundable, is spelled out in your booking agreement before you pay anything. If we ever have to cancel your event, you'll get a full refund of everything you've paid.

Website projects. Your payment schedule, and what's refundable if a project is cancelled, are set out in your project agreement before work begins. Work already completed and delivered isn't refundable.

Hosting & care. Month-to-month — cancel anytime by emailing andy@plateaunerd.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month, and partial months aren't refunded.

Our content

The text, design, logo, and images on this site are ours (or used with permission). Please don't copy or reuse them without asking first.

No warranties

The site is provided “as is.” We work to keep it accurate and available, but we don't guarantee it will always be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Andy Brunker, doing business as The Plateau Nerd is not liable for indirect or incidental damages arising from your use of the website itself. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited under law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.

Changes

We may update these terms as the site evolves; the effective date below will change when we do.
